After a long day of busy work and you’re in need of some de-stressing Me Time, classic massage is your panacea. It will help to improve your health and wellness, bringing you relaxation and lowering your stress level. It also improves blood circulation. This is an ideal treatment for those people who are new to massage and who wish to unwind and de-stress.
A highly popular massage style that is designed to restore and rejuvenate over worked muscles and knead out any knots that may be causing you discomfort. Pressure (or trigger) points are located all over your body. A properly trained massage therapist is able to locate these and then apply focused deeper pressure.
Most commonly the ball of the thumb, fingertips or heel of the hand are used to apply the necessary force. To get even deeper into the muscles, your therapist may also use her knuckles or elbows. This massage focuses on different layers of your muscle and tendon tissue and helps to loosen you up and relieve any strain you may be feeling caused by knots and pulls in your muscles.
Deep tissue massage is a type of therapy that focuses on the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.
Sports massage, as the name suggests, is a massage that is specially designed to alleviate many of the stress and tension that builds up in the body’s tissues during physical and sporting activity. However, the massage can also help even if you do not exercise regularly and the massage uses techniques that will be effective in protecting the body from aches, pains, injuries and maintain general wellness.
Anti-Cellulite massage involves stimulation of the deep layers of the skin and muscle. This technique increases the oxygen flow of blood to the target skin area, enabling the supply of nutrients that are necessary to improve the condition of your skin, as well as helping the lymphatic system to remove any toxins and excess fluid.
A very popular massage technique involving traditional yoga stretches that are believed to be effective methods for treating a variety of ailments such as tight or sore muscles, poor blood circulation and stiffness in joints. Best received on the floor or on a yoga matt. Your practitioner will use his or her hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to the important points along the energy lines of your body and also incorporate gentle assisted hatha yoga movements. You can opt to wear loose clothing for a dry Thai massage or be undressed to your own level of comfort for an oil-based Thai massage.
Taking you to the true heights of luxury, a four hands massage brings two of our wonderful practitioners to visit you together to deliver a synchronised, exquisite and delightful massage to you. It feels absolutely amazing as both practitioners’ hands glide across your body, massaging away those knots and aches! Each practitioner’s hands intertwine with the other and it is very difficult to tell which hand belongs to which practitioner.
After a short while your mind stops trying to predict the next move as it realises the movements of four hands at once are very difficult to predict. It is then that you really switch off and you enter a deeper state of relaxation. Your mind and body then begin freely enjoying the true luxury of massage. Pregnancy or prenatal is similar to regular massage in that it aims to relieve back pain, improve sleep and mood, as well as relax tense muscles and improve circulation and mobility. However, our prenatal massage trained practitioners will customise the massage to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies.
Pregnant women have their centre of gravity changed, resulting in more stress on their back, neck, abdominal muscles, and shoulders. Pregnancy also relaxes the ligaments, meaning a woman’s pelvic joints are less stable, and it also changes posture, pulling the pelvis forward. Add to that the extra weight a pregnant woman is carrying and she ends up with an aching lower back. This is where our dedicated and specially trained prenatal massage practitioners will bring relief and wellness to our pregnant clients.
Please note that Pregnancy Massage is only suitable for women who have past their first trimester. We recommend that pregnant women displaying any of the following conditions DO NOT HAVE a pregnant massage:
- Women who have not passed their first trimester
- You're experiencing nausea, vomiting, or morning sickness
- You're at high risk of miscarriage
- You have a high-risk pregnancy such as placental abruption (where the placenta slightly detaches from the wall of the uterus) or preterm labor

Reflexology is a massage that uses acupressure on the feet, hands and ears to bring about relaxation and healing.
